- 2 cups refined flour
- 3 tablespoons of ghee
- 1 cup pineapple
- 4 tablespoon grated coconut
- 4 tablespoon of sugar
- 4 tablespoon of Khoya [Mawa]
- Ghee for frying
Add ghee to the refined flour & knead a tight dough with cold water.
Cover the dough with cloth to keep it moist.
Saute pineapple for a minute & add raisins into the pan. Stir the mixture till it gets dry.
Add desiccated coconut to the mixture.
Mix sugar into the pan & turn off the heat. Let it cool down a bit.
Add Khoya to the mixture & mix it well.
Roll out small puris of the dough & place the stuffing on the half.
Cover the other half on the stuffing & seal the dough by pressing the corners with fork.
Deep fry the Gujiya on low heat in ghee.
Remove the gujiyas on absorbent paper.
Roll small puri of dough.
Place the stuffing on half side & cover it.
Seal the corners.
Deep fry in medium heat.
Ready to serve.
