How to Make a Vanilla Milkshake without Ice Cream

It’s very easy and simple to make a Vanilla milkshake without ice cream. Firstly, take Chilled milk in blender.Next, add some sugar as per taste, vanilla extract and blend it. In order to make it thick without ice cream add dry milk powder/ Cream to give better thickness. Similarly, you can add ice cubes to make thin shake.

Vanilla Ice cream and milk ratio
  • Always use 1/4th cup of milk & 3 scoops of ice cream for thicker milkshake.
  • Use 1/2 cup of milk & 3 scoops of ice cream for less thicker milkshake.
  • Add 3/4th to 1 cup of milk & 3 scoops of ice cream for thin milkshake

For Good results, check for Ingredients of Vanilla ice cream which you use. I always use ice cream made with milk (Amul Ice cream). Most of manufacturers use vegetable oil which makes icream thick like rock and result dosn’t give smooth texture.

  • 1 cup Milk (For vegan best go with Almond milk)
  • 4 cups Vanilla Ice cream (Approx 12 scoops)
  • 2 tablespoons White Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (For best result try Homemade Vanilla Extract)
  • Ice Cubes (Optional)

How To Make Vanilla Milkshake

  • Take a blender jar, add ice cream scoops. Moreover, its not necessary that ice cream should be hard. Its okay to go with soft ones.
  • Furthermore, add milk and sugar to it.
  • Sugar quantity could be adjust more or less as per taste.
  • Next, add 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract to it or you can add ½ teaspoon vanilla essence.
  • Blend it until it turns smooth.
  • Now pour it into tall glass, you can add some ice cubes if you prefer chilled milkshake.

Notes

  • Consistency of milkshake could be adjusted, for thicker add some ice cream scoops and for thin shake add more milk/ice
  • Sugar quantity could be adjusted as per taste.
  • Adding cream will also be good option.
  • Topping could be anything of your choice like dry fruits, tutti frutti or etc.
