SABUDANA VADAS

Sabudana Vadas and rainy season is on and I am enjoying my cup of tea while lying on my room’s window. Though I have some biscuits with tea some still feeling like to eat something spicy. So, today in this lovely weather I am going to prepare my favorite sabudana vadas that taste delicious with coriander chutney or even with tomato ketchup. So get ready to add another snack recipe to your menu. Sabudana vada is a snack with a crispy outside and a soft inside texture.

Ingredients:

  • 1Cup sabudana (Tapioca Perls),3-4 medium boiled potatoes
  • 3-4 medium boiled potatoes half cup
  • 1/2 cup roasted ground peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1-2 finely chopped green
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1-2 chopped green chilies
  • 1teaspoon finely chopped ginger
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 spring of coriander leaves 3 tablespoons
  •  rock salt
  • 1/2 ltr.refined oil

Directions:

  1. Soak the sabudana in water overnight. Drain of all the water completely from the sabudana.
  2. Mix the mashed potatoes n sabudana together.
  3. Add the roasted and coarsely powdered peanuts, rock salt, ginger, green chilies, coriander leaves and lemon  juice mix the entire mixture well.
  4. Heat the oil for frying.
  5. Now take some portion of the mixture in ur hands and shape them in to flat round vadas.
  6. Deep fry the vadas till golden brown in medium flame.
  7. Serve the vadas hot with green chutney or sauce.
