Ingredients For Tofu Stir Fry:-
- Two Hundred Grams – Rice Noddles
- One Teaspoon – Lemon Juice
- Half Teaspoon – Toasted Sesame Oil
- One-Fourth Teaspoon – Red Pepper Flakes
For Sesame Tofu
- One Teaspoon – Oil
- Five Hundred Grams – Firm Tofu
- Two Teaspoons – Sesame Oil
- Half – Large Red Bell Pepper(thinly sliced)
- One – Large Green Bell Pepper(thinly sliced)
- One – Hot Green Chilli
- Half Cup – Carrots(sliced)
- One Cup – Veggies Of Your Choice
- Five Cloves – Garlic(finely chopped)
- One Tablespoon – Ginger(minced)
- One-Third Cup – Soy Sauce
- One-Fourth Cup – Maple Syrup
- Three Teaspoons – Rice Vinegar
- Two To Three Teaspoons – Sriracha
- One Tablespoon – Orange Juice
- Black Pepper
- One-Fourth Teaspoon – Salt
- One Tablespoon – Cornstarch
- One-Fourth To Half Cup – Water
- One Tablespoon – Sesame Seeds(toasted)
- Coriander Leaves For Garnish
- Pepper Flakes As Needed
Directions for tofu stir fry noodles:-
- First, prepare the rice noodles as instruction on the packet. Rinse in cold water and transfer to a bowl.
- Next add a dash of lemon juice, pepper flakes, and half teaspoon sesame oil and toss.
- Furthermore, divide into two to three serving bowls
- Wrap the tofu in paper towel and then a kitchen towel. Place a heavy saucepan on it for five minutes. Unwrap and cube into small cubes.
- Heat one teaspoon oil in a saucepan over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the cubed tofu and cook for five to seven minutes until golden on some sides. Transfer to a bowl.
- Now add sesame oil, peppers, chilli pepper and other veggies. Cook for three to four minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger and cook for three minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Time to add sauce ingredients till salt and mix. Add the crisped tofu and bring the mixture to a good boil for three to four minutes.
- Mix cornstarch with water in a bowl to make a slurry. Add cornstarch slurry and continue to cook until the sauce thickens.
- Taste and adjust heat and sweet. Add some sweetener if needed. Divide into the serving bowls.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds, pepper flakes, and coriander leaves.
- Tofu Stir Fry is ready to eat.
