  • 2 pieces Guava

Steps for making for Guava Puree

  • Take a ripe guava, rinse it in water 2-3 times.
  • Now peel the guavas and cut them.
  • With the help of spoon, scoop the seeds from guava or you can also refer How To Deseed Guava.
  • Now take all remaining flesh in a sauce pan, add a some water and cover it lid.
  • Allow to simmer for sometime till it is cooked.
  • Check with tooth pick or knife, whether cooked or not. If it goes in easily then it is cooked.
  • Take all the cooked guavas in to blender and puree them until turns smooth. You can add some water to adjust the consistency.
  • Now pour this into sterilized clean bowls and guava puree is ready to feed your baby.

Notes

Note For Feeding Guava Puree For Babies

  • If you newly started feeding guava puree to your baby don't feed entire bowl on first day, start with little and increase it as day passes.
  • For babies, make fresh puree everyday don't freeze it.
  • Completely remove the seeds from the guava.
